Here is a late 19th Century American Weight Driven Regulator Clock, Boston
MASS made by Boston Clock Company. 13 1/2 dial w/ 11 1/2 time track,
Case is 36 X 16 X 4 3/4
Eight Day Brass works with maintaining power, 24 " pendulum overall, 20" from
center arbor to bob center. Early 1907 repair date inside head of case. Movement
and suspension bridge die stamped # 659
The untouched, first finish mahogany case has a wonderful patina. The
signed dial is original with an untouched signature ! Original weight
baffle, weight, hands, pendl. Etc.. The bob has original (faint) damascened
surface and the bottom is original. The upper bezel glass is
original. The lower tablet has the center (red) restored, with some
minor paint loss in the black & gilt. The movement original to
case, and the clock has been professionally serviced by Tom Powers of
Lambertville NJ and it runs just fine. Comes with original key !
